Today I would like to share with you my experience using Color Riche La Vie en Rose range by L’oreal.

You must have all heard of and/or tried Color Riche Lipsticks by L’oreal. But this season L’oreal has come up with these ultra feminine Pink Collection of lip shades which come in  six velvet mattes in the most flattering, fresh and airy colors.

Each of these are celebrity inspired and have been named after them.

The shades are:

Jennifer Lopez

Eva Longoria

Natasha Poly

Naomi Watts

Blake Lively

Julianne Moore

I tried 2 shades from their range.

Shade Delicate Rose JLO

Shade Delicate Rose Eva

Both of these are 2 beautiful versions of pink.

Eva’s pink is a day color. Perfect for Winters and Summers. Its a sophisticated pink with  matte finish and the texture is velvety. Even though it is matte, the texture is soft and caz of  that it does not dry your lips completely as few matte lipsticks do.

The packaging is attractive with initials of Eva Longoria. This fore-sure is her style, I can say that, caz few days back, I was watching few episodes of ‘Desperate Housewives’ and I could notice her carrying the similar pink shade and it just enhanced her beauty 🙂

This lip shade will go well with women of medium to light skin tone.

The shade lasted for about 5 hours and did require a touch up every 5 to 6 hrs.

Also,, to get a perfect color, you’ll need to apply couple of coats of the shade caz with a single coat you won’t get that perfect color. May be that’s why its named ‘Delicate Rose’ guess its not suppose to be all that pigmented. But after a few coats, you will just love the coverage and the shade it gives.

Next I tried the Delicate Rose JLO, Exclusive Collection.

This is a evening/night out shade. Sexy and Hot!… It’s got a touch of a plum color and its a beautiful lip shade.

Unlike the Eva Lip Shade, JLO’s Delicate Rose can used by people with Dark, Medium or Light, any skin tone and it gives u a bold  and a beautiful look.

But again, to achieve the perfect color, you have to slide it on your lips for couple of times.

Last week, I even got compliments from my friends for the lip shade, they said “The lip color is amazing, it suits you quite well” and I was all “:) 🙂 🙂 :)”

If i have to describe the L’Oreal’s Pink Collections in 1 word, I would just say they are GLAMOROUS!
