Cath Kidston introduces its SS’16 collection – Blooming Lovely!
On 29th March 2016, I visited the inauguration event of Cath Kidston at Mall of the Emirates.
It was a pleasant evening with fun colors all around and the most fascinating and adorable Spring/Summer 2016 Collection.
HM Deputy Consul General Mr. Alastair Long and his wife, Mrs. Vicky Long were the Guest of Honour and inaugurated the Cath Kidston flagship store at Mall of the Emirates.
Cath Kidston, the Home of Modern Vintage is known for its signature floral designs, and the SS16 prints and products are a joyful celebration of British blooms in all their glory.
After the success of the AW15 Library Collection, Cath Kidston has returned to its print archive once more and cherry-picked some favorite florals that were ripe for reinvention; with beautiful new prints that come in fresh shades of blue, green, yellow and coral.
The latest, Blooming Lovely collection at the store is full of the joys of the season.
Cath Kidston’s Blooming Lovely garden bursts into flower with an eclectic, colorful array of blooms, from classic roses to new hero hydrangeas, and daisies to ditsies. Herbaceous borders are a traditional feature of English gardens, so Cath Kidston has run them along skirt hems and on bags in all their glory.
Key background colours for vibrant blooms include versatile, easy to wear shades of denim blue and fresh green as well as classic oat and navy grounds on fashion and bags. The collection also includes, lovely pieces like Modern Vintage turnlock bags, crisp printed cotton dresses and essential outfit building pieces in denim and cotton, plus beautiful new luggage and feminine nightwear trimmed with delicate broderie anglaise.
Kids can dress for spring in style too, with new character knits, specially-designed bags for their scooters and more. New parents will wonder how they survived without Cath Kidston’s clever new changing bags and accessories. For Home, Cath Kidston’s fresh new Highgate Rose china collection is surely the star of the show – and your kitchen!
