Recently, I attended the Body shop event that took place at The Mall of Emirates. The event was for the launch on 5 rare fragrances, ‘Elixirs Of Nature’

Along with my favorite fragrances from the range, I also received 2 amazing products from The Body Shop.  One is the Down to Earth Eye Shadow Palette and other is the Ginseng & Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask. I would love to share with you my experience using them 🙂

The Body Shop Down to Earth Eye Shadow Palette

This palette includes 4 neutral and gorgeous shades that go perfect with any skin tone.

The palette comes with built-in mirror for easy use and shades can be used dry for easy blending, or wet for more intense, vibrant colour.

Behind the box packing, they have displayed 3 different looks we can create using the shades. Infact there are several combination and looks we can create by doing a simple mix and match of the shades. Even though the shades are neutral, we can achieve a subtle or a dark coverage,as we like 🙂

The shadow is long lasting and the quality of the shadow is rich and does not leave back any lose powder on application.

The Body Shop Chinese Ginseng & Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask

This mask is inspired by Chinese traditions. It uses Chinese ginseng along with rice extract and seed oil from Nicaragua to create a creamy exfoliating face mask. The mask is packed with natural ingredients and is 100% vegetarian.

I felt like I was giving my self a Home Facial and it was very simple. After a gentle face wash, I applied the mask for about 8 mins and then with warm water I just washed it off in circular motion. The texture of the mask is that of a exfoliating cream and while washing the face in circular motion, it removes dead skin and impurities. After washing the face, I could see some redness on the face, but that was caz of the exfoliating effect, and after applying a moisturizer, the redness disappeared in about 30 minutes.

My skin felt deeply cleansed,revitalized and radiant. Face felt refreshed and the uneven skin tone reduced in first use itself.

Thanks Body Shop for letting me try such wonderful products. I would be applying the mask atleast twice a week, and the Down to Earth Eye Shadow palette is my regular buddy now 🙂
